Corfu’s Luxury Hotels Compared (From Most to Least Expensive)

(This post may contain affiliate links. Find more info in my disclaimer)

Corfu is one of the top beach destinations in Europe, and it’s increasingly becoming a hotspot for resort hotels in the luxury and affordable luxury space. Nearly all of them are directly on the beach – which isn’t that common in Greece due to planning laws – and surrounded by amazing scenery.

There’s been a flurry of new opening recently, some are old favourites which have had a boho-luxe revamp, whilst others are brand new constructions. We’ve seen the Mar-Bella, Grecotel, and Domes brands expand with several new locations, the local Mayor brand has sold a few hotels and refurbed a few others, whilst the Conrad Corfu finally sees the arrival of the big international chains.

The coastline south of Benitses, particularly Moraitika and Messonghi, is rapidly becoming a hub for luxury developments, similar to the Plaka-Elounda area in Crete. Moraitika is the main ‘resort town’. Mark my words, in a few years, they’ll be calling it the Corfu Riviera, but for now it’s mostly still sleepy fishing villages and pebble beaches.

There’s another cluster of resorts just north of Corfu Town at Gouvia. Gouvia is a working village, not the most charming place in the island on its own, but the peninsulas occupied by the resorts are very pretty, and access to Corfu Town is easy.

To help you narrow down your choices, I’ve put together a few points to compare them all. I’ll cover the proper luxury hotels first, and then go over the best of the affordable luxury resorts. The latter category may technically be 5 stars (which is a rating based on facilities) but in terms of service and facilities, they might feel more like what you expect from a 4-star. But some of them really hit the spot in terms of design and location.

TLDR; (the shortlist)

Best for old-school luxury vibe: Grecotel Corfu Imperial

Best for contemporary luxury: Conrad Corfu

Best design-led adults-only: Domes Miramare, Mar-Bella Nido

Best luxury family resort/premium all-inclusive: Ikos Odisia, Mar-Bella Corfu

Best for your wallet: Grecotel Eva Palace, Domes of Corfu

Best small luxury hotel: Olivar Suites

Opening in July 2026, Conrad is Corfu’s newest luxury hotel and aims to raise the bar on the island. Think fine dining, sophisticated design that incorprates Corfiot traditions, and a state-of-the-art spa and wellness facilities. And Conrad is a Hilton brand, so you’ll be able to use your points here.

Location: The Conrad is located down the south east coast, on the long Molos Beach in Lefkimmi Bay. It’s a quiet area, there are salt flats and local dining at nearby Lefkimmi, and lots of wild sandy beaches on the nearby south coast. Corfu Town is 1 hour away. At the far end of Molos Beach you’ll find a few tavernas and a small harbour. It’s also a good location if you’re heading onwards to Paxos.

Pools: Large indoor and heated outdoor pools, heated private plunge pools and jacuzzis available.

Kid’s club? Yes.

All inclusive? No.

Beach: Very good – Conrad occupies a big space on a long tranquil sandy beach with very shallow waters.

Restaurants: 3 restaurants, 2 lounges/bars.

Other facilities: Health club, spa with thermal circuit and hammam, pilates area, running trails.

Ikos Odisia is the newest opening from the Greek luxury brand Ikos which caters for families looking for high-end all-inclusive experiences, with consistently excellent kids’ facilities and à la carte dining options.

Location: Ikos Odisia is located on the headland between Dassia and Ipsos, with low-rise buildings set within 60 acres of woodland. Truth be told, the resort area is prettier than the beach towns on either side, but if you have something to explore you have options. Northern Corfu’s stunning scenery is a short drive away, with plenty for the active traveller, and there are easy buses/taxis into Corfu Town.

Pools: 10 heated indoor and outdoor pools, including splash areas and a beachside pool.

Kid’s club? Yes.

All inclusive? Yes.

Beach?: Odisia has direct access to the northern end of the main beach at Dassia, which is a mix of sand and fine shingle, and there’s a small beach on the other side of the headland.

Restaurants: 8

Other facilities: Spa, fitness centre, watersports, childcare (extra charge), football academy, entertainment.

The Ikos Dassia is a large all-inclusive resort right on a Blue Flag beach in the middle of Dassia, against a stunning backdrop of green mountains. It was one of the first of the new wave of luxury hotels on Corfu.

Location: Dassia itself isn’t huge but it has a range of restaurants, beach clubs, and watersports, and is just a 10-minute drive to Corfu Town. If you don’t like to feel too remote, this will suit nicely.

Pools: 4 outdoor pools (2 are adults-only), splash park, suites with private plunge pools are available.

Kid’s club? Yes

All inclusive? Yes

Beach?: Ikos Dassia occupies a big beachfront chunk of Dassia’s main beach. It’s the nicest and sandiest bit of the beach too, but it’s not as private as the beaches at Ikos Odisia or Kontokali Bay.

Other Facilities: open-air cinema, fitness centre, sauna, 2 hot tubs, 3 tennis courts, childcare (extra charge), teens’ club in high season, entertainment, watersports.

Grecotel also owns Danilia, a key filming location for TV series The Durrells, and you can arrange a tour through the hotel.

A post shared by Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa (@angsanacorfuofficial)

Angsana opened in 2022, perched up in the hills above Benitses. It’s one of the few on this list which isn’t directly on the beachfront, however it does make the most of its views with a vast infinity pool, and there’s a shuttle down to the beach. The design and ethos here is contemporary rather than classic – food and spa treatments draw inspiration from Asia as well as Greece, bringing a fresh perspective to the luxury scene in Corfu.

Location: It’s a short drive to Benitses, a resort town which is scruffy in parts but has calm waters, a pebble beach, and excellent taverna options in a leafy old quarter. The airport transfer is very short (20 minutes).

Pools: 1 indoor pool, 1 outdoor infinity pool, 1 kids’ pool.

Kids’ club? Yes.

All inclusive? No, half or full board.

Beach?: No, but has a complimentary shuttle to the hotel’s beach bar and watersports centre.

Restaurants: 4 restaurants, 7 lounges/bars

Other facilities: Spa and heath club, guided hikes and local experiences.

Mar-Bella Nido, sometimes just known as Nido these days, is housed in a completely renovated old Club 18-30 resort – and what a turnaround. The architecture evokes a traditional Ionian village, with its shades of pastel pink, terracotta, and ochre, lush scenery, and sweeping views from its infinity pool. Relaxation and romance are the name of the game here. The main resort is on a steep hill behind the main road, the beach is directly over the road.

Location: The Nido hotel is located just outside Agios Ioannis Peristeron, a small resort on the east coast. Benitses and Moraitika are also close by, and Corfu Town is only 17km away.

Pools: Large freshwater infinity pool, rooms with jacuzzis or private pools available.

Kid’s club? No, adults only.

All inclusive? No, half board is available.

Beach? Yes, but it’s separated from the hotel by a road.

Restaurants: 3 restaurants, 2 bars.

Facilities: Spa, gym, infinity pool with sea views, poolside restaurant, kayaking and paddleboarding.

The popular Eva Palace hotel occupies the same peninsula as sister hotel (and Grecotel flagship), the Corfu Imperial. Whilst it doesn’t quite match it for elegance and service, it does represent excellent value at its price point – and you still get a bit of that Belle Époque charm, along with serene whitewashed decor and a fantastic location not far from Corfu Town. This has got to be one of Corfu’s best value choices for couples.

Another hotel in the affordable luxury/premium all-inclusive segment is the Grecotel LUXME Costa Botanica, which has rapidly become one of the most popular spots on the islands for families (good value + good food + water park = happy kids and adults).

If you love the idea of all-inclusive but have been put off by previous bad experiences, and can’t afford Ikos prices, then definitely check out the LUXME hotels.

Location: Tucked away in the north coast in unassuming Acharavi, with lush landscaped gardens and plenty of space, low-rise Costa Botanica is right on the beach and walkable to local shops and tavernas. Acharavi itself is a working town, functional rather than picturesque, but has waterfront tavernas and is backed by mountains. A great location for exploring the north coast (Canal d’Amour, Paleokastritsa, Kassiopi, etc.), it’s ideal if you love the great outdoors and prefer a spacious beach.

Pools: 5 pools (including 1 indoor pool and the Aqua Park) plus 2 children’s pools.
